Stress is probably the most common unwelcome guest in Americans’ lives.  With common pressures such as work, family, and healthcare, it’s no surprise that stress is constantly creeping into our consciousness.

To address this pervasive issue of stress, the East Austin Children’s Promise is offering a Family Workshop Series on stress reduction.  This four-session series will teach attendees new ways to reduce stress while offering support and providing information on mental health resources.  The series starts on Wednesday, July 6th, and continues every Wednesday until the last session on July 27th.  Workshops will be held in the Community Room at El Centro de Familia (6002 Jain Lane Austin, TX 78721) from 6-7:30 PM.  This series is completely FREE, and includes a light meal and childcare if needed.

Reducing stress can go a long way toward improving one’s mental and physical health – which makes all of our lives a little easier!   If you’re suffering from stress or know someone who is, then this workshop series on stress reduction is the right place to go.
